The 2004 Roller Sports Ontario Outdoor Speed Points Series made its second stop in Toronto at St-Clement School's 200 meter track. The event did not boast great support, but there was plenty of action on the track that more than made up for the lack of skaters. The skies were blue and the winds were high, making the times slower for the 1500 meter time trial. Drafting and skater cooperation had a big impact on how the races ended up. The next race on the series will be on Saturday June 26th in Aylmer, Quebec, just a short drive from Ottawa.

Camillo Echeverri rests after his 1500 meter time trial. He placed 4th overall, just 3-seconds back of 14 year-old Jordan Belchos.

Skaters chilled out in Ross Hanham's tent.

Morgan Williams leads Dave Taras and Rhett Cappleman in the last corner of the Leve 2 500 meter final.

The level 3/4 skaters are on the line, ready for their 10km race.

The start of the level 1/2 10km race.

Pan Mau is focused on the upcoming level 3/4 10km race.

Pan Mau leads Lindsay ChardKeri Chard, and the rest of the group during the level 3/4 10km race.

Pan Mau led most of the race. Here, he is leading eventual winner Lindsay Chard as well as 3rd place finisher Keri Chard, Carolyn Gullo, Morganne Echadour, and Carla Raetsen. Gullo dropped out of the race due to equipment problems, and as she was dropping out, Carla Raetsen clicked skates with her ad crashed.

Pan Mau keeps the hammer down while Lindsay Chard, Keri Chard, and Morganne Echadour stay in the draft during the leve 3/4 10km race.

Morganne Echadour leads Sigrid Ziegler during the level 3/4 10km race.

There was plenty of racing action and tight skating during the level 3/4 10km race.
Austin Belchos, Alex Newdick, and Gillian Clarke skated a lot of the level 3/4 10km race together.

I am leading Mike Murray and Jordan Belchos in the level 1/2 10km race. Belchos broke early in the race and lapped the entire field to collect his second win of the day. Murray ended up winning the overall stage though due to Belchos having a weaker placement in the 500 meter Level 1 final.

Jordan Belchos was all business on this day. Here, he is leading Mike Murray and I.
