Italians Shine in Series Finale, French Take Top Spots in the 2003 Series

The 2003 Swiss Inline Cup series concluded with a twilight 36K.  The eighth race of this season saw the Italians take 4 out of 6 podium spots, including the victories for both men and women.  In the overall series standings French star Pascal Briand of Team Saab-Salomon earned the title of series champion, with countrywoman Angele Vaudan of Team Rollerblade crowned the women's champ.
