Stage 7 of the Swiss Inline Cup set a new event participant record of 3,910 skaters around the beautiful lake at Zug. Massimiliano Presti (world ranking #2) got his second SIC stage win. Angèle Vaudan, the number 1 in France in the Sprint and in 59,36 minutes, earned her 4th win in the series. The Swiss skaters represented well on their home turf: Marc Christen, Pia Knecht, Franziska Stampfli, Reto Felder and Nicolas Iten all placed highly in the finishing sprints.
The Swiss Inline Cup goes now to the middle of August into the summer break, starting from 26 July to make room for the European championships in Padova, Italy.
