Race Course:
(For the Run and Inline Skate)
Run through the attractive residential area of North Bay Village, majestically lined with exotic flowers and shrubs, and Royal Palm trees reaching the skies. Then over the expansive bay and on to Pelican Harbor Island. Stride comfortably on an all-paved course with refreshing breezes.

Venue:
Come run the Three Islands that comprise North Bay Village, nestled on the Bay between Miami and Miami Beach on the 79th Street Causeway.

Distance:
Run 5 Miles, measured by RRCA/TAC standards. Walk 2 Miles. Inline Skate 5 Miles.

Treasure Island Walk:
There will be a Walk Race starting immediately after the Run at 8:05 A.M. Covering 2 miles in length. Entrance fees and registration are same as running race.

Entry Fee:
$18 on or before March 12, 2004. $22 after March 12, 2004. Day of race late registration held from 6:15 to 7:45 A.M.

Directions:
I-95 to 79 Street exit, ride east on 79th Street, over Causeway to North Bay Village. Signs and traffic police will direct you to parking and to the rear of Treasure Island Elementary.

Water Stations:
Water stations will be appropriately situated throughout the course.

Refreshments Food:
A variety of food, including juice, yogurt, bagels, fruit, donuts, coffee and soft drinks will be provided free to the runners. A real gastronomic delight!!

T-Shirts:
Specially designed 20th anniversary multi-colored T-Shirts will be awarded to the first 750 registrants.

Numbers:
All competitors must wear their numbers on the front of their shirts in a manner that is visible to the officials.

Toilets:
Portable toilets will be located near the start and finish of the race.

Packet Pick-Up:
Packets will be picked up the morning of the race at the Race Site from 6:15 A.M. to 7:45 A.M. Map of race course will be in the packet.

Raffles:
There will be a free raffle and fine prizes at the Awards Ceremony. All participating runners, skaters and walkers are eligible to win.

Awards and Prizes:
Awards ceremony at 9:30 A.M.
There will be CASH awarded to the overall male and female winners $100 cash!

Trophies/Age Categories:
Trophies to first three finishers in each mens and womens age division:
5-Mile Run 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-36, 37-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-65, 66-70, 71-74, 75 & over
2-Mile Walk
5-Mile Skate five-wheel: (top 3 in each) overall, 34 & under, 35 & over.
Four-wheel age groups (top 3 in each): 18 & under, 19-34, 35 & over.

Note:
All proceeds are utilized solely to help the North Bay Village Optimist Club run youth programs and other community activities in Dade County.
